FIBARO Flood Sensor

The Fibaro Flood Sensor is a universal, Z-Wave compatible, flood and temperature sensor. The device can be battery or VDC powered (12 or 24 VDC). Flood alarm is sent to the Z-Wave network devices or additionally to any alarm system controller, through opening a NC contact. The Fibaro Flood Sensor has also a built in temperature sensor, for example to monitor the room temperature.

The Fibaro Flood Sensor is designed to be placed on the floor or can be mounted on a wall. With the flood sensor probe extended, connected to a wire. The device has a built in LED and sound alarm. In addition, the sensor is equipped with a tilt sensor reporting tilt or movement to the main controller e.g. when the Sensor has been taken by someone from its original location. A LED diode produces light signals, while the Fibaro Flood Sensor is sink-resistant, drifts on the water surface and keeps on sending alarm signals in case of substantial inundation.
